TIG Welder (Carbon Steel) ½ to 15” for a full-time (40+ hrs) with 3+ years of experience.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The TIG Welder will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
-Perform piping repairs, new install and maintenance for industrial facility.
-Provide guidance and oversight regarding all piping issues on site with respect to client specifications, Kentucky state codes
-Follow SOPs and PTP’s procedures in execution of all tasks
-Create or improve SOPs and PTP’s, as needed
-Ability to read and use isometric drawings for fabrication
-Strong understanding of TIG, MIG, and Stick welding specs
-Experienced in using a plasma cutter
-Experienced in figuring offsets, miter cuts, branch “T” cuts
-Welding and pipefitting
-Mechanical repair and maintenance
-Perform other duties as assigned
-Job duties may be modified at any time
This position works in an Industrial Facility, and routinely uses instrumentation and measurement tools and records actions/data in a computer. The job requires periodically using rigging equipment and operating forklifts. The Candidate would have some outdoor exposure during the workday, and must be able to work in hot and cold environments.

May be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
G6 Welding Certification
3+ years plumbing/pipefitting experience
3+ years' experience working in a industrial environment
Must have experience with polypro, PFA, carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC, CPVC
Able to perform pipe fitting layouts and repairs
Must be able to make repairs to chemical piping, water lines, chill water piping, steam piping, and airlines
Working knowledge of CMMS software (Bigfoot a plus)
Strong professional behaviors; able to work with engineering and operations personnel
Good communication skills to all levels; email, reporting and presentations
Strong organizational and time management skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
