If you are looking for commercial work or industrial electrical work, call Fort Collins Tradesmen office. We are looking for a 2nd-4th year electrician to hire on with us. As an apprentice electrician we are searching for 2 or more years experience, own basic tools and PPE (safety attire). We have commercial and multi-family projects, as well as industrial/oil and gas (must have a safeland and FR clothing). We are paying an apprentice electricians with 2 or more years experience $16-25/HR (depending on skill level, hours, and skill set). Call 970.484.8807.

WE ARE NOW CERTIFIED ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS FOR WYOMING AND COLORADO; Meaning we can and will write off apprentice hours, register you through DORA, as well as do affidavits.

  • Helping install power supply wiring and conduit such as: EMT, O-CAL, Rigid conduit, MC cable, strut, cable trays

  • Assisting with troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuit

  • Helping to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems such as: switch gears, motor controls, electrical panels, CT cabinets, conveyor systems, lighting, and power supplies

  • Measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools

  • Tracing out short circuits in wiring, using test meter

  • Examining electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections, using hand tools

  • Constructing controllers and panels, using power drills, drill presses, taps, saws and punches

  • Cleaning work area and washing parts

  • Maintaining tools, vehicles, and equipment and keeping parts and supplies in order

Specific requirements:

  • Ability to work well under the supervision of a Journeyman Electrician following electrical code manuals

  • Eagerness to learn to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications required by our client

  • Experience working with hand tools, power tool and electronic test equipment

  • Working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation

  • High standard of integrity and professionalism

  • Drug free at all times
