Tradesmen International is seeking experienced Journeymen Pipefitters to join our team. If you are a Pipefitter with at least 5 years of experience this is your chance of a life time. This project is out of the area and the inital phase of a long term project. This will last 3-6 months and potential longer. You must have the following qualifications. Pipefitters are preferred to be NCCER certified, if you are not you must provide proof of at least 10 years expereince on large industrial projects. You must be able to pass a Pipefitter test as well as a criminal background check. Compensation is excellent and per diem and mileage are available provided you have verifiable proof of residency.

As a Pipefitter you will be responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping and piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial processing systems.
Selecting type and size of pipe and related materials according to job specifications, knowledge of system operation, and study of building plans / working drawings
Planning sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and cutting pipe
Threading and ending pipe by hand or with pipe bending machine
Assembling and joining piping by means of threaded, chalked, wiped, soldered, brazed fused, or cemented joints
Securing pipes to structure with clamps, brackets, and hangers, using hand tools
Testing piping systems for leaks by increasing pressure in pipes and observing gauges

5 years of experience as Pipefitter / Pipe Welder
Solid knowledge and understanding of system operation, building plans and working drawings
Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation
General knowledge of plumbing and pipe system layout, according to specifications
High standard of integrity and professionalism
