This Project Manager would report to the Regional Director in Atlanta. Requirements
Role and Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day construction site field operations
Coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, subcontractors/suppliers, and fellow White Electrical team members to make sure projects run smoothly, questions/issues are answered and resolved in a timely manner, and overall project goals/expectations are met
Develop, maintain, and communicate overall project and “look-ahead” schedules to project team members
Coordinate with appropriate agencies for inspections, reporting, and compliance
Oversee project layout, budgeting, timetables, adequate staffing, and field engineering execution
Ensure quality control is achieved to the client’s satisfaction
Maintain project safety controls and compliance
Monitor and supervise the on-site performance/quality of subs, suppliers, labor, and equipment
Identify and procure materials and subcontracts, as well as developing vendor and subcontractor relationships and long-term partnerships
Develop and control site logistics plan
Coordinate on-site manpower, materials, and equipment
Ensure that site conditions and practices comply with current regulatory requirements and the company’s health and safety program
Ensure a safe workplace for the entire project team.
Be able to detect, analyze, and communicate risks that may impact the likelihood of the success of their project
Monitor cost control and job costing, quantity reporting, forecasting, and productivity
Other related tasks and duties as necessary
Qualifications and Skills

Required: 5+ years of experience in the electrical trade – Project Management experience must include industrial estimating and execution
Required: 3+ years of supervisory experience
Knowledge of industrial electrical construction means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures, general conditions, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications
Effective leadership and management skills
Demonstrable safety leadership
Strong attention to detail and quality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities/challenges on a daily basis
Technical ability to easily master computer applications
Preferred: Experience managing a Union workforce.
