Hello Pipe Welders,

If you are a Pipe Welders with 5 years recent experience on Naval Ships (NOT REQUIRED) and want to be a part of the nation’s elite marine skilled workforce, this is your chance to advance your career!

As a pipe welder, you will be required to possess knowledge of the tools and equipment that is required to work at this position. Some insight into the strength and welding characteristics of different types of metals will also be considered important when working at this position. The ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams and schematics is also required when applying for this position, as are the skills in recognizing the mechanical functions of moving parts, and applying this knowledge to welding projects.

Location: Sunny San Diego, CA

START: ASAP (3/9/2021)

12 Pipe Welders: Repair – On-Base

8 Pipe Welders: New Construction

Shifts: 1st – Repair (On Base)

Traveler: $27.00 hr/ Per Diem$120.00 days worked

Local: $38.00 hr

HOURS: 40 hours a week, some OT but not guaranteed

PROFICIENT IN:

1) FCAW; 2) SMAW; 3) GTAW; 4) Air Arc skills (All Positions)

MUST have Experience in:

1) Copper Nickel

2) Ceramic Tape Backing

AVAILABLE:

Flight Credit/Assistance

Hotel Assistance for 2 Weeks

Quarterly Bonus:

Up to $500.00 based on Attendance & Safety

Referral Bonus:

$200.00 on Skilled Trades (Rules Apply)

  • Eagerness and willingness to learn and receive instruction/direction from qualified Journeyman Welder
