Tradesmen International is immediately hiring an experienced Millwright Journeyman for a project located in Battle Creek, MI . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $25-45/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Repair and maintain production tools and dies

• Verify conformance of machined or repaired dies to specifications by checking dimensions, clearances and alignments

• Troubleshoot problems during production

• Modify dies to conform to engineering changes and conduct tryouts of new dies

• Work with blueprints, sketches, written and verbal instructions

• Maintain and update equipment, records, schematics, blueprints and files in orderly fashion

• Operate lift truck, overhead crane, floor scrubber and equipment to wash dies

Requirements

• Have the ability to operate machine tools such as TIG/MIG/ARC welders, lathes, milling machines

• Able to use computer and software as required and work with blueprints and sketches

• Must be able to lift 75 pounds, work in confined spaces and use standard hand and measuring tools
