Location: Port Angeles, WA

Start: ASAP

Duration: 2-3 months

Pay: $25/hr.

Per Diem: $120 for days worked

Weekly Hours: 40-44 hours per week

Scope of Work:Will perform the basic duties of a Marine Electrician which consist of troubleshooting advanced electrical systems, testing equipment, planning, installing, and repairing wiring, fixtures, and electrical equipment aboard vessels.

Location: Puget Sound Naval Station, Bremerton WA

Start: ASAP

Duration: Long term, 1+ years

1st Class Marine Electricians Local Pay: $26 starting. After 1 month of great attendance will go up to $27

All levels of local Marine Electricians will be considered. Pay rate determined off experience.

Traveler Pay: $22/hr. Plus $130 per diem for days worked

Scope of Work: Naval Ships Installation, connection and operational testing of shipboard electrical systems and components which include electrical power and lighting systems, sound powered phones, electric heat and ventilation equipment.

  • Must have clean background with no felonies in last 10 years, no outstanding warrants or court cases.

  • Must be a US citizen or Naturalized Citizen. Will require proof of US citizenship to pick up badge to the shipyard. Acceptable documents are Current US Passport, US Birth Certificate (Original or Certified, No photo copies), or Naturalization Documents


Marine Electricians are responsible for installation of electronic and navigational systems onboard vessels of all size.

  • Must have working knowledge and experience in operation, maintenance, and repair and or installation of cableways, motors, motor controllers, and Limit torque Valves, limit switches, proximity switches, hydraulic pumping units, hybrid relay and standard electronic module controllers

  • Will perform work on Deck-edge Elevator Systems, Platform Locking Systems, Deck-edge Doors, Hangar Bay Divisional Doors, Flight Deck Safety Stanchion System, Weapon Elevator Systems, Vertical Package Conveyors, Armored Hatches, Vertical and Horizontal Sliding Watertight Doors. Experience with this equipment is a plus

  • Under general supervision, performs standard and non-standard work that is dependent on trade specialty

  • Works from blueprints, tech manuals

  • Receives instructions on semi-routine and difficult assignments

  • May provide training and guidance to lower levels

  • Performs all necessary tasks (semi-skilled and unskilled) laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of systems and equipment
