Tradesmen International's Renewables Division is searching for a safety minded, Site Quality Manager to add to our team as we build multiple utility scale solar projects in 2021.

Site Quality Manager

Summary of Position

Site QM will be responsible for overseeing the Quality Management System at the project level and direct managing the Quality Inspectors. The Site QM will report to the Site Manager on the project and to the corporate Sr. Quality Manager.

Required Skills and Experience

• Good communication (Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus)

• Ability to manage quality inspectors

• Interpret drawings and contract language

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications- Word, Excel, PPT, OneNote, etc.

• Ability to lead Root Cause Analysis investigations

• Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives

• Ability to develop and interpret reports relating to quality outcomes

• Build and administer Inspection and Test Plans

• Reviews subcontractor commissioning and energization plans with appropriate parties

• Open minded- willing to learn

• Teacher- enjoys sharing knowledge with less experienced personnel in a professional and respectful manner

• Minimum of three years’ experience in Quality Management- managing quality and field Engineers, quality techs/inspectors or similar

• Solar, Wind (Renewables) background

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Procore Project Management Software (strongly preferred)

• Technical writing- procedures/inspections/test plans

• ISO 9001 training or certifications
