Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders for projects located in Columbia, SC . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $22/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Prep pipe fittings and pipe ends for full penetration welds on pipe assemblies

• GTA weld on carbon steel, stainless steel and duplex stainless steel

• Interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols used to fabricate piping assemblies or skids

• Calculate pipe fitting takeouts on piping measurements

Requirements

• Must be able to weld pipe diameters ranging from 1/2-36 in all positions

• Must be able to pass weld tests

• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, engineer sketches and blueprints
