Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Flat Welders for projects located in Holland, MI . This is a full time opportunity and the pay rate is $21-26/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products

• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications

• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications

• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance

• Assemble and weld structures sub-assemblies and be responsible for filing burring and welding

• Rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals

• Job site clean up

• Safely operate all equipment

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 1+ year MIG welding experience

• Ability to perform MIG welding thin gauge, mild steel and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques

• Ability to read and understand a tape measure, weld symbols and welding gauges

• Ability to fabricate, recognize and perform to AWS standards

• Ability to perform inspection of welded fabrications
