Currently seeking experienced Painters to join our team for local work in Jacksonville. The projects are all in and around Jacksonville FL, and are paying between $15-$18 hourly. Qualified candidates must have at least 4 years experience, brushes & rollers, clean appearance, and a valid drivers license. Requirements

As a Journeyman Painter you will apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings, and other structures.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Filling nail holes, cracks, and joints with putty, plaster

  • Smoothing surfaces, using sandpaper, brushes, or steel wool

  • Removing old paint from surfaces using paint remover, scraper, wire brush, or blowtorch to prepare surfaces for painting

  • Painting surfaces using brushes, spray gun, or paint rollers

  • Simulating wood grain, marble, brick, tile or other special effects with cloth, brush, or sponge

  • Erecting scaffolding or setting up ladders safely to perform tasks above ground level
