The web developer will be an immediately impactful contributor to existing and new projects. The successful candidate will be a creative problem solver who enjoys deconstructing challenging issues and is mindful of modern best practices in software development.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Associate Degree or better in a Computer Science program that includes software development
OR
Certificate of completion from a “developer boot camp” program at a regionally accredited university
Ability to build front-end solutions in React (also proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS)
Ability to use GIT-based code repositories and develop in an agile/sprint-based workflow
Ability to perform front-end design tasks including UI, UX, and storyboarding.
Ability to interact with APIs to submit and consume json data packages that are utilized in the application interface
Familiarity with WordPress, Moodle, or other CMS platforms
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of users and support staff.
Ability to anticipate needs and proactively utilize appropriate resources to resolve issues
Ability to multi-task, meet specified deadlines and maintain a flexible, positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or better in Computer Science or Information Systems
Experience with react native application development and deployment to Google and Apple app stores
3+ years of experience in web development
Ability to complete back-end tasks in an object-oriented language (preferably PHP), and MySQL
Experience with RESTful API development
Experience with containerization of services and Kubernetes
UNIX/Linux experience
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, high-quality software for our technology platform
Assist in analysis and design of solutions to proposed projects
Coordinate and communicate efforts across internal and external teams and interact directly with project stakeholders.
Maintain existing applications and work to integrate our existing infrastructure with a modern user interface
Investigate and remedy issues reported by users when escalated from the helpdesk team
Assist in preparing technical and procedural documentation of your projects
Manage multiple concurrent projects and make routine decisions independently
