Tradesmen International is looking to hire multiple Mechanical Assemblers for a long term project in Northeast Wisconsin. Per diem is provided for those who will be traveling to the area if they are qualified. The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for but not limited to:
Assemble basic parts or unit and attach unit to assembly, subassembly, or frame, using hand tools and power tools.
Inspect, test, and adjust completed unit to ensure that unit meets specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
Connect electrical wiring according to basic circuit diagram.
Measure parts to determine tolerances, using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers.
Read blueprints and specifications to determine component parts and assembly sequence of electromechanical unit.
Read hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics and diagrams.
File, lap, and buff parts to fit, using hand tools and power tools.
Attach name plates and marks identifying information on parts.
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition, informing supervisor of defective or faulty equipment or materials and unusual conditions, maintaining quality standards and following safety rules.

4 years of experience working as a Millwright
Ability to construct, assemble, repair and dismantle machinery and equipment using tools such as: hammers, wrenches, crowbars, rollers, dollies, hoists and other hand tools
Ability to understand schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, building plans and other specifications required by our client for information regarding the type of material required to get job done
Experience working with equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts
Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation
High standard of integrity and professionalism
