Tradesmen International is looking for Lineman in Kearny, AZ outside of Phoenix, AZ

Pay: $26.25 per hour

Duration: Full Time/Direct Hire

Location: ARARCO – Ray Mine

As a Lineman, you will safely be responsible for installing and maintaining cables and wires used to supply electrical throughout the mine.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a lineman

• Complete pre-op inspection and operated pick-up truck to designated work area.

• Conducts tailgate meeting to discuss work goals and safety hazards.

• Digs holes using backhoe loader and hoists electrical poles upright into holes.

• Operated bucket truck to prepare the pole to install wire and pulls wire through by hand or with the use of a winch.

• Replaces and straightens poles and attaches crossarms, insulators, and auxiliary equipment.

• Repairs defective power cables and auxiliary equipment for power lines.

• Measures voltage using electronic test equipment.

• Monitors shovel box ground voltage.

• Climbs up and down poles with climbing gear.

Additional requirements:

• 4 years of experience working as a Millwright

• Ability to construct, assemble, repair and dismantle machinery and equipment using tools such as: hammers, wrenches, crowbars, rollers, dollies, hoists and other hand tools

• Ability to understand schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, building plans and other specifications required by our client for information regarding the type of material required to get job done

• Experience working with equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts

• Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation

• High standard of integrity and professionalism
