Tradesmen International is looking for an Experienced Millwright Journeyman to join our team in our Indianapolis, IN office. If you are a Millwright Journeyman eager to hone your skills while mastering new ones alongside other accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery
Strong ability to diagnose issuesand maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydralic equipment and systems
Repair or replace components on malfunctioning machinery and equipment
Preform and adhere to strict Preventive Maintenance schedule and action items
Ability to diagnose machine issues and recognize potential machine failures
Ability to determine and communicate concise technical descriptions of diagnoses, failures, components
Perform minor to moderate machining tasks, such as turning, drilling, drilling, tapping, threading, cutting etc.
Project is expected to last 6 months or longer
Shift is Monday through Friday;7:00am-3:30pm with some OT here and there
Job is located in Plainfield, IN and surrounding areas
Pay Scale is $23-24/hour based on experience & skill level
Requirements
Requirements:
Ability to operate hand, power and specialized tooling
Experience with resistance welding equipment, Waterjets, hydraulic presses, sewing machines strongly preferred
Must own basic Hand Tools
Must wear proper PPE
