Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Pipefitters for projects located in and around San Diego, CA . This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $36/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Welding on Naval Vessels

• Install and Maintain Ships Piping Systems; Steam, Heat and Power, Hot Water, Hydraulic, Air Pressure and Oil Lines

• Plan Layout of Pipe Sections, Cut and Bore Holes in Bulkheads and Decks for Installation of Pipes

• Operate Shop Machines to Cut and Thread Pipe and Pipe Fittings

• Bend Pipe to Specified Shape

• Bending Fixtures, Bolt or Weld Brackets to Support Pipe Systems

• Connect Pipes to Fixtures

• Repair Packs and Adjust Valves

• Test Installed Systems for Leaks and to Ensure System Meets Specifications

• Cut, Bend, Weld, Braze, Grind, and/or Burn Pipes to Fit and Connect for Shipboard Installation

• Install and/or Remove Pipe, Inspect and Tag Out Piping Systems

• Other Tasksa as Assigned

Requirements:

• US Citizen

• OSHA 10, Maritime, Respirator Fit and FIrewatch Certifications

• Able to Follow Blueprints, Layouts and Work Orders, Use Hand Tools and Shop Machines

• Comfortable Working at Height and in Confined Spaces and Work Any Shift

• Able to Comprehend Written and Verbal Instructions, Hear Warning Signals, Read and Comprehend Safety Instructions, Regulation and Warnings
