Marine Electronics Technician Requirements:
3+ Years of experience as a MST, MET, ET or AT in commercial shipping or fishing or acquired in the Navy, Coast Guard, or Marines.
Associate degree or equivalent instructor-led training, certifications, and experience.
Strong knowledge of electronics theory and application is required.
Valid FCC General License with Radar Endorsement & GMDSS Radio Operator Maintainer License is preferred.
Be physically fit. Work environment often involves carrying 20–50 lbs., climbing ladders and masts, and exposure to weather.
Have valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
