Tradesmen International is hiring HVAC Journeyman for upcoming projects in Springdale, AR & surrounding areas .

Requirements

As a HVAC Technician you will be responsible for assembling, installing, servicing, and repairing air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating units used in homes, schools, commercial and industrial buildings.

Additional responsibilities:

• Studying building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations

• Diagnosing causes of equipment breakdowns, testing parts with appropriate instruments, disassembling and assembling parts, and making necessary repairs

• Locating and marking position of pipe and/or duct connections and passage holes for same in walls and floors and then cutting openings to accommodate pipe and/or duct fittings, using hand tools and power tools

• Cutting and threading pipe, using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machine

Connecting motors to control panels and balancing motors to insure efficient operation and connecting control panels to power source

Job Specific:

Change out App. 50+ Roof Top Package units and add several more RTUs and Split Systems to accommodate expansion and Research and Development needs.

This Project will be using All kinds of Cranes, Lifts and Helicopters to remove and reinstall Systems as needed.

The Job duties include but not limited to Sheetmetal Removal and Installation, Hydronic and Refrigeration Piping, Welding, Minor High and Low Voltage Repair and Installation, Trouble Shooting issues as they arise, Preventive Maintenance i.e. Checking Systems out for proper operation, Changing Filters and Belts as needed, Cleaning Condenser and or Evaporator Coils, Servicing Chillers and or Cooling Towers, Cleaning and or Servicing Ice Machines, Computer Room Units and Control Systems.

All of the above is to be accomplished with the utmost Consideration for Safety and our Clients.

Unprofessionalism and Horseplay will not be tolerated! This phase of this Project should last until Mid-November of this Year and our work Hour may very but usually Monday thru Friday 7am to 4pm with some overtime and Weekends.

• 4 years of experience as HVAC Technician

• Solid knowledge and understanding of system operation, building plans and working drawings

• Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation
