Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled and motivated Assembly Technicians for projects located in and around Tacoma, WA . This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of $20-30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Assemble Machines and Equipment

• Prepare Work to be Accomplished by Studying Assembly Instructions

• Gathering Parts, Sub-assemblies, Tools and Materials

• Position Parts and Sub-assemblies

• Assemble Components by Examining Connections for Correct Fit; Fastening Parts and Sub-assemblies

• Verify Specifications by Measuring Completed Assemblies

• Work with large steel machine beds & assemblies

• Read assembly drawings & retain knowledge; take notes

• Moving frames, assembled parts, & pallets

• Maintain clean work area

Requirements:

• 2+ years of working with hydraulics, motors, gearboxes, pneumatics, & assembly processes; proper alignment of parts, nuts, bolts, etc.

• Must be Vaccinated

• Ability to Read Engineering Drawings, Assembly Instructions, Drawing Specifications and Parts List

• Basic Math Skills

• Ability to Read a Tape Measure

• Proven History of Being Reliable and Excellent Attendance

• Mechanical background & electrical skills; attention to detail

• Proper knowledge of hand tools & digital multi-meter

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Maintenance Mechanic or Millwright Experience Preferred

• High School Graduate or GED is Strongly Preferred
