Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Apprentice Millwrights for multiple projects located in and around Tacoma, WA . This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $30/hour based on experience & skill level. Job Scope:

• Work with Large Steel Machine Beds & Assemblies

• Assemble Machines & Equipment

• Move Frames, Assembled Parts, & Pallets Around

• Prepare Work to be Accomplished by Studying Assembly Instructions, Drawing Specification, & Parts Lists; Gather Parts, Sub-Assemblies, Tools, & Materials

• Position Parts & Sub-Assemblies by using Templates or Reading Measurements

• Verify Specifications by Measuring Completed Assemblies

• Maintain Clean Work Area

• Other Tasks as Assigned

Requirements:

• 2+ Years of Experience Working with Hydraulics, Motors, Gearboxes, Pneumatics, & Assembly Processes, Proper Alignment of Parts, Nuts, Bolts, etc.

• Must be Vaccinated

• Proper Knowledge of Hand Tools & Digital Multi-Meter

• Strong Mechanical Background

• Ability to Read a Tape Measure & Engineering Drawings

• Ability to Lift at least 50 Pounds

• Knowledge of Forklift Operation

• Time Management & Organizational Skills

• Punctual & Reliable

• Maintenance Mechanic or Millwright Experience Preferred

• HS Diploma or GED Strongly Preferred
