Seeking experienced HVAC Duct Mechanics to join our team. Currently interviewing mechanics with sheetmetal or ductboard experience for projects located in Tampa that are paying up to $22 hourly. Please respond with a resume, or call 813-885-6700 to be considered for an interview.

Requirements

As a HVAC Duct Mechanic you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating units used in homes, schools, commercial and industrial buildings.

Additional responsibilities:

• Studying building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations

• Locating and marking position of pipe and/or duct connections and passage holes for same in walls and floors and then cutting openings to accommodate pipe and/or duct fittings, using hand tools and power tools

• Working with power tools to cut and assemble ductwork

• 4 years of experience as an HVAC Duct Mechanic

• Solid knowledge and understanding of system operation, building plans and working drawings

• Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation

• High standard of integrity and professionalism
