Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Flat Welders for projects located in the Baltimore , MD area . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $22-23/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Structural steel, stainless steel, aluminum welding

• Welding of steel staircases and railings, beams and columns, gates and fencing, bollards, lintels and framing

• Joint preparation per specifications

• Inspect and test welds and equipment

Requirements

• Ability to weld in both flat and vertical positions - SMAW, GMAW, FCAW

• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude

• Ability to read blueprints and recognize welding symbols and specifications

• Organizational and communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision

• Ability to set up and set welding machine to correct setting per specifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
