Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Low Voltage Electricians for projects located in Cedar Rapids, IA . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $24-32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Install and repair electrical wiring systems and fixtures in telecom equipment shelters

• Working with low voltage data, alarming control, 12v to 48v DC systems, rectifier and battery systems

• Troubleshooting and servicing issues with electrical panels and systems

• Installing conduits and pipes to shelter electrical wires and cables

• Ensure all piping and raceways comply with electrical codes

• Install equipment grounding systems

• Test electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed

• Replace conduit and wiring as needed

• Replace circuit breakers

• Maintain a clean organized and safe working environment

• Other tasks assigned

Requirements

• Must be able to discern color coded wiring

• Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending and climbing ladders or scaffolding

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
