Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring a skilled Machinist for projects located in Kansas City, MO . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $25-30/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Machinist eager to demonstrate your knowledge and skills while learning new ones, this is your chance to advance in your career!

Job Scope:

• Set up and operate a variety of manual and CNC machines including; mills, lathes and other machines

• Determine manual process or programming information needed to achieve desired outcome

• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines

• Monitor and adjust feeds and speeds of machines during the machining process

• Measure, examine and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specs

• Use computer to enter job information and maintain work records

Requirements

• Minimum of high school diploma or equipment

• Minimum of 8+ years of previous machining experience

• Must have vocational training, metal or wood shop experience
