Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Outside Machinists for projects located near the Poquoson , VA area . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is based on experience and skill level plus per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job-site.If you are an Outside Machinist and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

• Valve replacement

• Test boiler operations

• Install sea valves, hydraulic components, and hull inserts

• Read complex drawings, blueprints, diagrams, and sketches

• Use lapping, and blue checking tools

• Operate lathe

• Valve overhaul steam and Wog

Requirements

• Must have 7+ years Maritime Outside Machinist experience
