Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for projects located in Knoxville, TN . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are an Electrician eager to demonstrate your knowledge and skills while learning new ones, this is your chance to advance in your career!

Job Scope:

• Modify and replace equipment on Campus power-stations, equipment up to 69kV

• Replace and Maintenance on Circuit Breakers, splicing wire

• Checking Voltages on Secondary Terminals and replacing connection

• Troubleshooting electrical problems and utilizing drawings and diagrams to work on circuits

• Some Cleaning and scheduled maintenance on equipment

• Must be able to read blueprints and schematics

• Working with Transformers, Replace capacitors, insulators, and lightning arresters, switches, Meters, and other protective equipment

Requirements

• Previous work on power poles or utility from a bucket truck or lift is a plus

• Must be able to read blueprints and schematics

• Must have hand tools of the trade and all proper PPE
