Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Industrial Painters for projects located in the Milwaukee, WI area . This is a full time opportunity and the pay rate is $18-23/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as necessary
Operate spray guns to apply two-part polyurethane paint to products ensuring even coverage and high-quality finishes
Adjust spray gun settings and pressure levels according to product specifications
Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed to ensure product quality
Monitor paint levels and equipment functionality, reporting any issues to supervisors
Maintain a clean and organized work area including proper storage of paint and equipment
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Must pass Competency Test, a Spray Test, and Preemployment physical including drug screening
Minimum of 2 years experience with two-part polyurethane spray gun painting up to 65 psi
Experience with automotive painting 25 psi and 45 psi is a plus
Ability to measure, compare and perform shop calculations to meet customer specifications
Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Attention to detail and a strong drive to succeed
