Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Insulators for projects located in Newport News, VA . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $40/hour based on experience and skill level plus $120/per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

• Applying molded pipe sections to various steam pipe systems

• Working with main steam auxiliary steam

• Applying tempmat and black insulation to components such as; turbines and pumps

Requirements

• Minimum of 20+ years of experience in the field

• Must be able to install, remove and repair molded insulation which includes; calcium, silicate, tempmat and finishing cement to various size piping systems

• High quality workmanship is required

• Must be able to cut proper miters, apply fiberglass cloth over sections smoothly and without excessive glue being trapped
