Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Maintenance Technicians for projects located in Richmond, VA . This is a second shift opportunity and the pay rate is $25-28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain support and manufacturing equipment and machinery

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance accurately and in a timely manner

• Analyze test results, error messages, and information obtained from operators to diagnose and recommend equipment repairs

• Perform lockout/tagout procedures as needed to secure equipment according to guidelines

• Help to ensure equipment, fire and electrical safety procedures are being adhered to during walk through of plant

• Supports GFSI and FSMA. Assists in ensuring that the SQF system is in place and that we follow all aspects of HACCP plan, SSOPs, and GMPs throughout the plan

• Reports all food safety issues to an immediate supervisor

• Supports an accident-free work culture. When developing, or modifying production processes, assists in accident prevention and risk identification

• Collaborates with HR/Safety Manager to minimize risk exposure from ingredient, equipment, or ergonomics

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED Certificate required.

• Must be able to pass drug screen

• Must be able to pass background

• Minimum of 6 to 10 years of solid industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility; preferably within an agriculture or food production plant

• Extensive knowledge of electrical and machine control troubleshooting skills
